Re/Sketch

2017-2020
(internet, custom software, archival prints)

Re/Sketch was built as an alternative space to forget and reset, a sort of system rewrite for the brain or evolving art work.

Re/Sketch is composed of randomizing, non-linear real-time 3D computational sketches (or digital paintings) that create and forget a new piece every 35 seconds. The sketches are similar, but never exactly the same. If a viewer likes the sketch unfolding they can lock or freeze it from disappearing. The structure of the project is constructed as free, open art to be shared over the internet and displayed on any device or screen.
